For Clayton's birthday celebration this year, we kept everything low-key since we were at the beach. And you know what? I think he was just fine with that! Cake, ice cream, his cousins and his brother, and he was good to go!
His birthday each year is always a struggle for me, for obvious reasons. It's the epitome of bittersweet. But since we were totally out of our normal environment, I didn't have to hide any tears during our little party. I was able to totally focus on the happiness Clayton brings us. It was quite refreshing!
It was definitely a happy birthday for this sweet boy!
