Today we began our homeschooling journey! I am more positive than ever that this is the right decision for Clayton and for us as a family. We began the year with a tiny bit of math, some handwriting practice, and we started a week-long unit on transportation. Since Clayton is so obsessed with trucks, bikes, and go-karts, it made perfect since to start the year off with something he loved to talk about! And what made it even better was the weather---we were able to do some of our work on the porch since it's so beautiful out. Great advantage of having school at home!Monday, August 24, 2009

Drew maybe asking you to homeschool him!
Sounds like a great start!
Oh I wish I lived closer to you. I so would love to have Daniel homeschooled but I have no idea how to go about it. What training or anything. Would love to hear more about it.
School starts here in a few weeks and if it goes like it did last year with him being sick all the time I might freak out!
sounds like it was a good decision! Please keep us updated!
Sounds like the year is off to a good start. I love the picture of Clayton - he looks like he is really focused on his work.
he looks so studious in his glasses, working on his school work! :)
